Rare Pure Jade Frog - Hand Carved

This item was hand carved at a monastery in Myanmar, in the Golden Triangle (a dangerous and inaccessible place). The Burmese Hand Carved Jade Frog brings in wealth and joyous tidings in a monetary form (in this case, no coin is needed). Each Jade Frog from this temple is unique and is said to have been blessed with the protective aura of the temple (it is unscathed despite the violence and instability of the sub province). Rich businessmen/tycoons in the surrounding countries, as well as Feng Shui Masters will try to get them (from that temple) in bulk to use them as prestigious gifts to friends/attendees of a joyous occassion. They are very hard to get due to its dangerous location in the Golden Triangle. The Jade Frog might differ in the picture due to each one being unique (e.g. hand carved from a different piece of jade). Those who wish to order 10 or more, please enquire on the contact page. This item is popular because it is said to retain the protective aura of the unscathed temple.

While cultivating in the Buddha's teaching, Daoji acquired magical powers. Not long after that, even Buddhism began to respect him, and added him into the list of...Ji Gong in Full

Chung Kwei: Guardian of Spirits
Chung Kwei's popularity in folklore can be traced to the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang China (712 to 756). According to Song Dynasty sources, once the Emperor Xuanzong was gravely ill. He had a dream in which he saw two ghosts. The smaller of the ghosts stole a purse from imperial consort Yang Guifei and a flute belonging to the emperor. The bigger ghost, wearing the hat of an official, captured the smaller ghost, tore out his eye and ate it...Chung Kwei in Full
